I am starting to think the first trimester blues have gone away! This week was amazing and I really am starting to feel like myself again. My appetite seems to be back and my migraines have been limited. I will say I think I have found a trick to get rid of my migraines. My good friend Rigo told me to mix Apple Cider Vinegar in 8oz. of water with a tad bit of honey. I start feeling relief from the migraine about 15 or 20 mins after I drink it. AMAZING! I am so excited to find something that works.
This week was Spring Break for me so I was able to get some stuff done since I was feeling better. I was also feeling well enough to start running again, so I did about 7 miles this week. On Wednesday we had some friends come into town and we went to the mountains with them on Thursday. I felt good enough to ski Thursday and Friday at Keystone and took Saturday off to rest. I also skied on Sunday morning for a few hours with the boys at A-Basin. So good to be feeling well enough to do things I enjoy. We are closing in on the end of the ski season so it was nice to get in a few days.
It is back to work and our normal routine tomorrow and we are both hoping I continue to feel good. We have our next prenatal appointment this Friday. Updates and pictures to come then! Have a great week!

Back to Normal??
Well, this week I have been feeling great! I am wondering if maybe I am starting to leave the yukiness of the first trimester behind and start feeling normal again. YAY!!! I was able to go running yesterday! It felt so good to get out there and run again. I am for sure not ready to run a marathon anytime soon, but I ran/walked almost 3 miles. I hope to get back out there again today if I am feeling well. I will be 11 weeks along on Saturday of this week and we have our 12 week appointment next Friday, April 4, 2014. Scott and I are both looking forward to that! Hope all is well with all of you and thanks for following along in this journey with us!

Week 10
Well, I am very happy and blessed to say that this week was amazing! I actually felt great all week long. I was able to go to work everyday. I had no morning sickness, minimal nausea, no vomiting and no migraines. It was a wonderful week. On Friday after work I did start getting a migraine which decided to hang on all weekend. I am happy I got it on a weekend so I could just lounge at home, and Scott once again was amazing in trying to help me feel better. I tired to drink fresh ginger in water and also tried to drink apple cider vinegar. The vinegar was so awful it almost made me throw up but I really feel like it did help.
This week the baby is the size of a prune. I feel like I am getting bigger and I do feel more tired. No huge changes in cravings, just happy when I have any type of appetite. Short post today since I am still battling the migraine! Hope all is well with everyone!

New Beginnings for the Hennings
As most of you already know, we are very excited to announce that we expecting our first child in October!!! I have had several friends tell me it is a good idea to blog during pregnancy so everyone can share the joy with us, so I decided to give it a shot. I will try to give weekly updates and post pictures as we go.
I decided to start it today since I have had a pretty good day. As you may know I have had a rough 9 weeks so far. Between the migraines, the nausea, the vomiting and the sinus infection I have kinda had a rough go. I have heard it gets better soon so Scott and I are really looking forward to that day! Speaking of Scott, he has been amazing. He has been doing everything around the house since I have really been feeling ill. He has been cooking, cleaning, doing dishes and taking such good care of me and the puppies. I am truly blessed to have such an incredible husband who is going to make an ever better FATHER.
That is all for today. Thanks for following in the journey with us!
