The prenatal appointment on Friday went well! It was pretty uneventful, which I feel is a good thing. I got to listen to the heartbeat which was about 158/bpm. We discussed what the neurologist said about the migraines and my OB said all of her ideas for prevention were good. We talked about what the baby moving should feel like. I do believe I have started to feel it move. Just slightly, when I am laying down on my back or sitting still. I am looking forward to more action! After the appointment I had to get some blood work done and will have the results of that at the next appointment with my OB. The next appointment we have is May 30, 2014. This is when we will get an ultrasound of the baby and could find out the sex of the baby. As most of you know, we have decided to wait to find out the sex of the baby until it is born. So we will be sure that the doctors do not show us all parts of the body. We are looking forward to seeing how big the baby is.
I am very happy to report that I have still been feeling amazing, which has been so nice! I have been migraine free for 12 days. Each painfree day really is a blessing. I have been to able work more and do more of my household duties. It has also given me some more time to actually enjoy the pregnancy.
This weekend we spent some time in the nursery getting the walls ready to paint. We had wallpaper on the walls that we decided needed to come down, so we spent a few hours playing with that.

Thank you all for the kind words, prayers, and cards during the pregnancy. It is so nice to have such awesome family members and friends. I hope everyone had a fantastic Mother's Day! More next week!
